A woman has offered up a reward to find the cyclist who she claims knocked her over before cycling off.

Andrea McVeigh, 44, says the collision left her in the hospital, and is offering £2,000 for any information leading to the cyclists arrest.

She claims she was walking along the pavement when a cyclist, trying to beat the traffic, hit into her side at speed.

‘Blood was pouring from a gash in my forehead and my finger was bent at a right angle,’ said Andrea.

While people were helping her stem the blood the cyclist allegedly told Andrea’s husband Patrick that he was going to lock his bike up, before taking off.
